As a Chorister and subsequently Organist and Choirmaster for over 45 years, I have quite an extensive background in church music and other genres. Throughout that time, I have been interested in composition either for my own enjoyment or to cover specific needs (solos, 3-part pieces etc.) This has led me to writing a Requiem, a Missa Brevis, assorted anthems and carols, as well as organ music and secular / folk songs - as well as about 50 hymn descants.
As well as having been used in my own church, a number of other church choirs have sung some of the works, including at two local cathedrals.
