Description
Shamelessly swapping bar times of everything between 5/8 and 8/8 and with occasional three-against-two rhythm, this short setting of the well-known anonymous Christmas words nevertheless lives up to the instruction to be "lilting". Unaccompanied SATB voices will quickly pick up on this and hopefully it will become as popular in the wide world as it has proved to be with the composer's choir. With thanks to the Thanet Chamber Choir for the recording of this piece.
